ACC HK Artistic Advisory Committee
Our Artistic Advisory Committee is comprised of leading international arts professionals who share with us a commitment towards international cultural exchange and advocacy for education and excellence in the arts.
Lin Cho-Liang is one of the world’s most sought-after violinists who has actively enriched the cross-cultural and cross-discipline dialogue in music. His relationship with ACC stretches back to 1988 when he performed as guest of honor for ACC’s ‘Onstage with Lin Cho-Liang’ fundraising gala. Noted for his dedication to chamber music, he has served as Music Director of La Jolla Music Society’s SummerFest since 2001 and most recently in 2011 he was named Artistic Director of the Hong Kong Chamber Music Festival.

Wang Jian was propelled into the international spotlight at the age of ten when his talent as a cellist was displayed in the documentary film From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China. Now one of the world’s leading cellists, Mr. Wang has bridged East and West as a cultural ambassador through his introduction of Western music to China and China to the Western world. In 1991, Mr. Wang supported the ACC fundraising gala event by performing as guest of honor in ‘On Stage with Wang Jian’.
Judith Jamison is Artistic Director of the acclaimed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater which has come to be known as a ‘cultural ambassador to the world’ for the United States. She is an authority on modern dance and, through her innovative projects and curriculum, has been a significant advocate for education in the arts. As partners sharing the ideals of cultural exchange and education, the ACC has awarded grants to Asian dancers for world-class training at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
